Receptions and Celebrations
Each year a number of wedding receptions, Anniversary celebrations and birthdays are held here. Photographs taken in these picturesque surroundings will ensure many happy memories of your special event.
Conferences and Seminars
Our current schedule shows bookings from 2 hours upwards. We can accommodate your requirements, whether it is for a few hours, half day, full day or several days.
All of the rooms are versatile for different layouts and seating configurations, the number of delegates usually dictates the size but you are encouraged to view the Centre for yourself. For small intimate gatherings, the Bardsley room is ideal with natural light from two sides and informal seating available if you wish. For a grander affair, you may wish to consider our largest room, the Arkwright Hall, which has full stage facilities.
Audio visual equipment, including a PowerPoint projector, is available for use in the room of your choice and all rooms have a number of electrical sockets for your own equipment.

These are run throughout the year by groups from the community and the Church. At the moment the Archaeology weekend, held in September each year, is a very popular and well attended event. Other exhibitions based on Art and Horticulture are expected to be held this year.
